Pricing for 2023-24:

30-minute Private lessons: $990/year, or 9 payments of $110/mth.
60-minute Private lessons: $1710/year, or 9 payments of $190/mth.
30-minute Group Theory class: $630/year, or 9 payments of $70/mth.

Buddy Up Lessons: (not available for 2023-24)

I will now be offering Buddy Up lessons for students who want the benefits of a private lesson, but the fun of sharing it with a friend. This is great for kids who are shy and need the support of a friend to help build their confidence. It is also great for kids who are outgoing and want a unique challenge of doing piano duets, or vocal harmonies.

 

Beginner Theory Group Class:

How to get students interested in music theory – make it Fun! I will be offering small group classes for students who want to learn the basics of music theory. We will be learning note recognition, note names, note duration, differences in dynamics, counting rhythms, music symbols, intervals, ear training, drawing music symbols and clefs, major & minor chords, key Signatures, study in composers, learning to compose music etc. But, how do we keep it fun you ask? Think SURVIVOR ISLAND MEETS ESCAPE ROOM. Sometimes you need to help each other in order to find the answers, but sometimes it will be a head to head race to the finish line for the WIN! … Escape Room Puzzles, Flash cards, Musical Hangman, Spot that note, Musical Truth or Dare, Spelling Bees, Scavenger hunts, Fill in the blanks, musical recognition Coloring sheets, Music Bingo, Crack the Code music Puzzles, Music Jeopardy, are some of the fun games we would be playing.

“Beginner Theory” (ages 8+):  Class time TBD based on interest.  Space is limited to 5 students per group. Parents enrolling more than one child will receive a $20/month discount for each additional child..

* The $40 annual registration fee (per student, per discipline, per class) will remain the same as in previous years. This keeps your child(ren) covered for dictation books, purchased music, photocopies, recordings, supplies, materials etc. The only thing your child needs to bring is a 3 ring, hard cover binder. Additional fees will only be added if music needs to be purchased for competitions, festivals, Royal Conservatory Exams, etc.
