60-min Private Lesson – $1520/year, or 8 equal payments of $190/month
30-min Beginner Theory class – $560/yr, or 8 equal payments of $70/month
Registration fee:
An annual fee of $40 per student (per discipline/per class) will be collected with your October payment.
This helps cover cost of Music, Photocopies, Dictation books, Supplies, etc.
LESSONS
Lessons run OCT 14 – MAY 28 which totals 33 weeks. Tuition for the year is based on 29 billable weeks and divided into 8 equal payments. The monthly fee stays the same regardless of how many lessons are in that month. That allows for 3 Holiday weeks and 1 Teacher floater week built into our schedule (at no cost to you).
- Any credits issued throughout the year will be applied to your May invoice
PAYMENTS
I accept Cash, E-transfers, and Cheques payable to Tammy Page.
*Please Note: All Payment are due BY the 1st of each month. A preemptive reminder will be emailed to you a few days prior. I will send ONE reminder on the 2nd of the month if payment has not been received by that time. After which, unless arrangements have been made with me, a $5/day late fee will be added to your invoice. This will help eliminate the unnecessary time spent chasing down payments each month.
WITHDRAWAL FROM LESSONS
Signing up for lessons is based on a 1-year commitment. However, if you need to withdrawal from lessons, I require 1 month’s paid notice. No cancellations after March 30, since it is too late in the season to fill your spot.
CANCELLATIONS / MISSED LESSONS
Specific times are set aside for specific students – a student who does not attend a lesson will simply miss the benefits of that lesson. I will however use that time to plan for the student’s progress, locate materials, and lesson plan. Please be assured your tuition is always working for your child as I spend a great deal of time outside of lessons choosing repertoire, planning courses, attending competitions & performances, recording songs etc
If you need to miss a lesson, please let me know in advance so I can use that time accordingly. Schedule permitting, a make up lesson may be offered. Students who cancel, or do not show for a make up lesson, will forfeit that lesson.
Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will be made up or refunded.
Parents are welcome to stay for the first lesson. However, beyond the first lesson, parents are asked to please refrain from staying inside during lesson time. Please note: If a parent wishes to stay for the first lesson, they will be required to wear a mask.
SICKNESS/ILLNESS
Students who are sick should not attend lessons.
This is especially important for the upcoming year as we loosen mask requirements. Germs can spread very easily in a small space when everyone is touching the same surface.
COVID/FLU & MASKING:
Hand sanitizer and masks will still be available.
Voice Students: No longer required to mask.
Piano Students: TBD. (Masking may still be required during the Fall/Winter months)
All Students: If you have Covid, Flu, or a bad Cold – Stay Home. Students who are feeling ok, but still have a cough, will be asked to put on a mask.
OTHER FEES
Voice students are responsible for paying all accompanist fees for events such as Music Festival. Also, two (2) original copies of each song are required for Festival. I can usually source a 2nd copy. However, if a 2nd copy cannot be sourced, the additional cost will be billed to you.
